Simulation of measuring transducers used for diagnosis of icing on overhead electric power distribution lines

There is a number of disadvantages in existing systems of diagnosing ice formation on overhead electric power distribution lines, under the conditions of climate change. A 3D model of a measuring traducer was designed in the SolidWorks software environment that used for improved predictive diagnostic system. In the Flow Simulation software module, the temperature distribution over the surface of the measuring transducer was determined as the result of the solution of hydrodynamic and thermal tasks. It was confirmed that heat emitted by the thermoelectric module has no influence on a zone controlled by the sensor.

The surface plasmon resonance in nanoparticles of arbitrary shape

In this paper, an optical properties of metal nanoparticles of arbitrary shapes were investigated. The effect of size and shape of the silver nanoparticles are studied by computational discrete-dipole approximation methods. The obtained results show that nanoparticle interaction results in the distinct collective modes. The spectral positions of the modes are analyzed as a function of the face numbers of the shape. It was found that the number of spectral bands decreases with the growth of the number of faces of nanoparticle, which can be described within the plasmon hybridization model. We have used the Blender suite to create and voxelize nanoparticles with different shapes and sizes.

Improvement and modeling of matrix afine ciphers for images cryptographic transformations

The paper presents the results of modeling matrix affine advanced ciphers for cryptographic transformations of grayscale and color images with a reduced number of matrix keys. Modified models and algorithmic procedures for the formation of keys, forward and reverse cryptographic transformations, which reduce to matrix-matrix element-by-element modulo operations, have been developed. The use of decomposition of color and multi-spectral images into their grayscale components made it possible to unify the transformation procedures, use only one matched key and expand the types, data formats and the range of applications of such ciphers. As auxiliary production keys, the master key degrees are used modulo. Based on a series of experiments in the Mathcad environment with various grayscale and color images for the purpose of encrypting and deciphering them using the proposed models, it is shown that the proposed improvements of such ciphers are adequate, convenient for use, have advantages and allow even to increase their functionality.

The dynamical state of incommensurate super structure in the [N(CH3)4]2CuCl4 crystals

The signs of dynamic modes of inhomogeneous structures were investigated, it were described with the Lifshitz invariant in the thermodynamic potential without constant amplitude approximation for the order parameter. Also the impact of the distribution of amplitude function oscillation on the phase of the order parameter in the model, which describes the periodic structure in ferroelectrics and ferroelastics were investigated.
Senior Lyapunov exponent is mostly positive for this type of disparate structures, this is a sign of the existence of a system chaotic regimes. The resulting all obtained maps of dynamic modes is qualitatively similar and characterized by limit cycles of the signature spectrum of the characteristic Lyapunov parameters (+, -, -, -); (+, 0, -, -); (+, +, -, -). The chaotic nature of treatment varies depending on the change of parameters T and K. In processing the data, it was observed that the most common mode is hiperhaos with signature (+, +, -, -).

The control system of two-motor ac electrical drive with individual regulators of speeds

In the paper dynamics of simplified scalar control system of two-motor electrical ac drive by frequency regulation is investigated. Mathematical model of the drive is constructed via electromagnetic processes agreement by taking into account elasticity of transmissions. The formulas to determine the optimal parameters of digital regulators for stator currents of the motors and speeds of the drive are given. Simulation results obtained in the Matlab are presented. It is established that considered system of the drive guarantees optimal dynamic characters as well as exact distribution of loading between the motors.

Methodology and results of computer simulations of the electriclal conductivity in nanocomposites

Paper discusses electrical processes in composite systems consisting of randomly placed conductive nanotubes and the dielectric filler. Stages of the statistical modeling of the system using percolation theory approaches are described. The influence of tunnel effect and intrinsic nanotubes conductivities on the total equivalent conductivity of the composite is analyzed. Random resistor model is applied to calculate the total equivalent conductivity of the composite system. The results of the computer experiments on simulation of electrical conductivity of nanocomposites are presented. The dependencies of the electrical conductivity of nanocomposite on geometric parameters of nanotubes and of tunneling distance are shown.

Using microSD card as a system drive

In this work I have Implemented method of using microSD card as a system drive via installation files and software of the operating system Microsoft Windows. For configuration of microSD card as a system drive were applied unpacked files of WIM-file and tools such as DISM, Diskpart, BCDboot. Accordingly, microSD card can be a drive system for both physical computers and virtual machines. Operating-system-level virtualization was carried out based on the VMware Workstation Pro software. It has been found that the use of microSD cards by this method, improves the energy efficiency of the system.

The multidimensional OLAP-cube for hotel and tourist complex of the Subcarpathian region

A multi-dimensional relational database of hotel and tourist complexes of the Subcarpathian region was created. The database is given in the third normal form. A data link used "one-pre- many" "many-pre-many" relationship. The database storage scheme is of the "star". Based on this database was created a multidimensional OLAP-cube.

Analysis of the object movement by MEMS devices

Established inexpensive energy efficient control system dynamic processes based on MEMS gyroscope-accelerometer GY-521, running at I2C interface with microcontroller Arduino Leonardo and the use of radio frequency modules nRF24L01+. It is shown that such systems can be applied to improve the training process of sportsmen and monitoring the physical condition of the elderly in the "smart" house.

Peculiarities of collection and processing of data sets for control of Smart Objects

Now we have a transition from Smart House conception to Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE). Last present some devices which can connect one with other and connect with Internet network without people efforts. IoT or IoE devices need to calculate features of design special system. There are using defense technology from hacker attack after denied of sleep for economy of energy. Operation system (OS) for IoT not will be great and got minimum of energy. In real system we have more then ten thousand operations per second and it is necessary to do real model of system and investigate one for study peculiarities of functionality by such system need to do new method of Big Data analysis. Very important for such system is creating of little reading of network for connecting processor with devices and to transfer information data with minimum energy.

Highly effective urban passenger transport based on mobile robots

It’s a project of intellectual transport system of mass passenger transportation on the basis of mobile autonomous robots, assembled in caravans on the cassette principle. This type of public transport is aimed at enhancing the mobility and flexibility of passenger transportation. It also has significant economic benefits, as the effectiveness of such transportation is as high as of the underground and at the same time has much lower cost of manufacturing and maintenance.

Adaptive traffic control system based on fuzzy inference

Efficiency of transport systems in large cities is to a large extent dependent on the efficient crossroad traffic management. Intellectual traffic lights control systems are in focus of great interest these days as they can manage intensive traffic in the real-time. In this paper the adaptive traffic control system on fuzzy logic controller is proposed. The traffic controller based on fuzzy inference forms the set of fuzzy production rules, fuzzification of input values, aggregation of truth sub conditions for each rule, activation of conclusions and defuzzification procedure that generates an output signal to control the traffic light. Optimal parameters of traffic lights cycle are determined using linguistic variable as an input data and applying fuzzy production rules for current crossroad traffic intensity stored in the database. Using fuzzy logic allows to take into account the dynamic of vehicles and to increase the efficiency of controlled crossroad operation.

Comparative analysis of statistical properties of east slavic texts

In this work we have developed software for studying a number of statistical properties of the texts written in East Slavic languages, primarily Ukrainian and Russian ones. A computerized technique for the phonetic analysis and syllabication has been worked out. Statistical processing of texts taken from three corpora of fiction has been carried out. The corresponding rank dependences have been obtained and their description given in terms of theoretical relationships. Basing on the technique for comparative analysis, we have revealed similar and distinctive features of the phonetics and phonics of Ukrainian and Russian languages, as well as their historical development.

IT education in Ukraine: where are we going?

We consider the development, application and implications of new technologies in the IT business. Prospects of IT education in Ukraine are analyzed. It is colcluded that, despite the large number of institutions of higher education in Ukraine, which are preparing specialists for IT business, there is a difference between the needs of IT business and typical skills of high school graduates. The ways of bridging the gap between IT education and IT business are suggested.
