Analytic algorithm for solving Van der Pol equation for computer mathematics systems

Van der Pol equation is well known in mathematics and electronics. It has such a feature that it’s stiffness parameter is proportional to it’s parameter μ. Numerical algorithms for solving ordinary differential equations very often use this equation for testing purposes. In this article we describe algorithm of solving analytically this equation using the method of small parameter and we research this algorithm for it’s stability with respect to parameter μ. Because of large number of ordinary analytic operations which are required for this algorithm we are using computer algebra system Maple
