Sensor controls of spirits on the basis of zinc oxide and the analysis of their response by means of neural network technologies

We study properties of ceramic sensors based on Zn associated with their gas-sensitivity to steams of ethyl and isoamyl spirits. A technique is developed for processing signals of the gas sensors, which uses analysis of time and temperature dependences of electrical conductivity in various gas environments and under different partial pressures of adsorbate. When solving problems of processing the signals of the gas sensor, we have employed neural-network algorithms that allow reducing considerably a quantity of images coming from the sensor, which are necessary for data processing.
