Technique optimization for determining parameter of fractional power filter involved in the correlation function for speckle image analysis

In this work the surface strains appearing in composite materials under static loads have been studied, using a speckle correlation technique. We have optimized a method for calculating the index of fractional-power filter involved in the correlation function utilized when analyzing speckle images. The dependences of specific intensity and averaged displacement d on the α parameter of the fractional-power filter have been derived.
