Temperature distribution in tissue under radiofrequency ablation of tumors

The analysis of non-stationary boundary problem for radiofrequency ablation model of tissue tumors has been carried out. Spatial distributions of temperature, potential and thermo-destruction zones have been analyzed with a finite-element method for different time periods. The electrodes with changeable surface potential have been demonstrated to be efficiently used.
